Strengthening inclusion and integration in the labor market requires increased conditions for civil society to further develop innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions in broad sectoral collaboration.
The project enables business, civil society, the public sector, academia and citizens to jointly, within the framework of the Embassy of Sharing residential area at Hyllie in Malmö, work with the idea-driven innovation that is about contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable city through local currencies.
The purpose of the project is to investigate, in a cross-sectoral collaboration, based on lessons learned from previous initiatives in the area, how local currency can be used to enable increased work integration and community inclusion. The project will contribute to new solutions for local currency as a social incentive program being developed and disseminated so that in the long run they can contribute to changing labor market structures and social systems through local urban development projects.
The project is carried out on the basis of an appropriate partnership with Internationella Kvinnoföreningen in Malmö as coordinator i collaboration with Altitude Meetings, the City of Malmö and the School of Economics at Lunds Universitet. The project is funded by Vinnova.
