Everyone has something they are good at - it's just a matter of discovering their talent and then developing it further with the help of hard work and focused training. Within the framework of our project Tjejdriven, we've had for three years the privilege of meeting and working with many young people. Young people who are good at different things such as art, technology, IT, film, sports, math, philosophy etc. We also met young people who did not know their own strengths but wanted to get involved in something.
In Alla Har Talang, we want to create a developing leadership and mentoring project that is based on young people's potential and strengths. The purpose of the project is to unleash the talent and potential of young people and give them tools to become leaders in practice. We want to give Malmö's young people the opportunity to create lectures, courses, workshops, circles, tournaments etc. based on their own areas of interest. Furthermore, we want to give them the opportunity to discover their talents and strengths in order to be able to develop them further. In other words, the idea is for young people to identify their strengths, create independent activities, recruit their participants, motivate and lead their own groups according to a certain schedule.
The project's primary target group is young people with a foreign background between the ages of 15-25. The project also welcomes young people with ethnic Swedish backgrounds. The project is funded by Allmänna Arvsfonden.
